Semi-automatic inflation device
Semi-automatic balloon filling system guarantees an easy and safe inflation process of different types of balloons with helium or hydrogen. It automatically stops a gas flow when the balloon is filled with the necessary volume of gas. It is foldable that allows an easy transportation in the ruggedized transport case.
Manual inflation device
The inflation kit is compatible with helium or hydrogen and based on a taring system. When the gas volume is sufficient, the balloon leaves the ground and lifts the tares.
Meteorological balloon is 100 % made from natural latex. It’s resistant to high-low temperatures, ozone and oxidation. Meteomodem proposes a wide range of balloon types from 10g to 3000g which can reach different altitudes and support different payloads.
Absolutely necessary for field campaigns and military missions. Ruggedized case is proposed in different colours and sizes. It assures the safe transportation of all radiosounding equipment that can be easily deployed on a field. Supplementary bags for antennas and tripod can be also provided.
Robust tripod is delivered with mounting brackets for an easy deployment on the field. Resistant to different weather conditions and proposed in different colours and with a transport bag.
Groundcheck system allows the calibration of temperature and humidity sensors prior to launch. It also verifies the radio frequency, the battery level and the GNSS synchronization (optional). This device guarantees the readiness of the radiosonde for a flight.
Bullet antenna provides GNSS signals to the ground receiver which are used as a reference GNSS ground station. It’s a very compact, screw-on antenna supplied with cable.
Infrared device allows the easy frequency change on the operation field.
Parachute allows the smooth decent of the radiosonde after the balloon burst and improves the reception of the additional atmospheric data during the decent.
